My ancestors were from the Celtic Country of Galicia in Spain before immigrating to the American Continent. The Celtic Heritage was primarily in Scotland, Cornwall, Ireland, Breton, Wales, Isle of Man, and Ireland. Even though those who have Celtic Blood are Celtic and it was with this union that Celtic Culture has been able to maintain itself.
In spite of attempts to suppress the Celtic Culture, it is still alive and well. It is appreciated in the Celtic Countries via radio stations such as RTE [Ireland], CRTVG [Galicia in Spain], BBC Radio Cornwall with its programme Cornwall Connected, BBC Radio Scotland, Wales Radio International, Tartan TV [Scotland], BBC Northern Ireland, and Stations in the Breton Region in France.
Many examples of Celtic Music have been groups such as The Lying Scotsmen with their signature tunes "Laughter In The Time Of War" and "The Hedgehog". Listening to The Lying Scotsmen is like listening to a legend in Contemporary Celtic Music and being able to appreciate the message called "The Truth". I myself have used "The Hedgehog" as a signature tune when I arrive at work and leave.
Celtic Culture is also alive and kicking in the American Continent with those who possess Celtic Blood celebrating their heritage in different fairs in different areas in the American Continent.
Celtic Culture is Alive and Kicking. Celtic Culture like the Celtic Family is growing and receives a following amongst those who have Celtic Blood and those who do not have Celtic Blood because of its universal appeal.
